Patti's Story
I was chemically poisoned by Levaquin, due to
ignorance of doctors administering. I started with nausea, diarrhea,
increased sweating. Progressed to seizures, then problems with total body
aches, fatigue. Diagnosed with "Fibromyalgia". Continued decline to the
point of not being able to function, having symptoms now up to "psychotic
event" ~ wondering if I would commit suicide, harm my husband;
depersonalization, nightmares, insomnia, bizarre dreams when I do sleep. I
have 44 of 60 ADR's, THAT I KNOW OF SO FAR, and yet no "medical doctor" will
admit the cause of these are the dosings with Levaquin. I cannot work, and consider myself fully disabled. On top of that, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in May of 2004. Antibiotics are clearly indicated as a cause of breast cancer. Review of my pharmacy history for the past 4 1/2 years shows I was on 44 rounds of antibiotics, 14 of them being Levaquin. The health coverage my husband has for civilian care is affordable. However, if we had not been stuck with the military "healthcare" system to begin with, I may not have been poisoned. My quality of life is very low. We cannot travel, or make any plans ahead of time, as I am very often to sick to get out of bed on any given day. My doctors claim I am "drug seeking" because I am in constant pain. I have neurological side affects, and many times cannot remember things from one moment to the next, let alone one day to the next. My husband is able to afford a naturopathist for me, who understands my illness is from overdose of antibiotics. I hope to have some relief from his treatment, which is NOT covered by insurance, because it is "ALTERNATIVE" medicine. "STANDARDIZED MEDICINE" almost killed me. |
