Scott's Story
I had developed Colitis from taking Augmentin
over a weeks period. When I returned to my doctor to ask about it, he
prescribed Avelox for 5 days. After the first pill, I felt a bit dizzy and woke up the next morning feeling as though I had rolled my ankle. I was able to work through the pain and go through my usual routine. The second night, I took the medicine again. When I woke the next morning I couldn't walk on my ankle and it has been that way for two weeks since. I've been to an orthopedic specialist who did blood work with several counts that were high - including white cell counts. My orthopedic told me to get it out of my mind that it's a drug reaction, but I'm not ready to do that. I went from perfectly healthy to confined to my bed in two days with no better explanation. |
